Welcome to the Public Administration Department at UAA!
Our typical students have
degrees in some technical area -
health, law, social work,
biology, etc. and they work in a
government or non-profit agency.
As they moved up in their
organization, they find
themselves doing more management
and less of what they were
trained to do. They are
gaining the necessary management skills in
the MPA program. If that profile
