6pm- 9pm- Canoe and Kayak Kickoff Picnic at University Lake

7am- Breakfast and Registration ( Cuddy Center )

8am- 5pm-   Conference

6:30pm- 10pm- Dinner at the Alaska Native Heritage Center

Friday, June 20, 2003

6am- Birding Walk with Diane Toebe

7am- Breakfast ( Cuddy Center )

8am- 5pm- Conference

9am- Van trip to Matanuska Valley (for those not involved in the conference)

6:30pm- If there is interest, there will be a shuttle to Flattop Mountain to see the sunset, the great views of Anchorage and possibly Denali .  We will stop to pick up dinner on the way.

Dinner and evening on your own- We will have volunteers who will be able to take groups downtown for dinner, or hiking, or fishing (in downtown).

Saturday, June 21, 2003- Summer Solstice, the Longest Day of the Year

8am- Breakfast

9am- 3pm- Conference

9am- Mayor’s Midnight Sun Marathon

2pm-  4pm- MPA class

Evening and afternoon- On your own.  Logistics, LLC, a tour company will be available to help you book activities for this afternoon and evening.
