Already scheduled speakers include:

 

Gerald A. Darsch, Director and Kathy Evangelos Assistant Director, DoD Combat Feeding, Natick Soldier Center.  Currently in the process of testing the application of RFID technology to the distribution of MREs, they will be conducting a field demonstration in early in 2004.  Natick is the recognized leader in the application of RFID technology within DoD today.

 

Kent N. Gourdin, Professor of Management and Director of the Global Logistics and Transportation Program at the College of Charleston, author of one of the leading text in Global Logistics Management.

 

David Laks, Vice President Business Development, AISD, Signal Technology, Crane Aerospace and Electronics.  Crane, through its various divisions, is a primary developer of wireless sensor technologies applicable to quality and security monitoring.

 

Paul Drzaic, Vice President, Advanced Development Programs, Alien Technology Corporation.  Alien is one of the leading manufacturers of low cost nano-technology based RFID tags.

 

Jay Ferguson, Director, Joint Information Technology Center, Chenega Corporation, Dr. Hermann Gruenwald, and Dr. Oliver Hedgepeth, Global Logistics Management, University of Alaska Anchorage.  Chenega Corporation under contract with the DoD is developing and demonstrating web centric systems’ capability for accessing legacy DoD information systems.
