Application for Admission Deadlines

Summer semester:  May 1
Fall semester:  July 1
Spring semester:  November 1

Students wishing to take one or more of the online graduate certificate courses to apply toward an MBA or other degree must:
• Request permission to register from Dr. Oliver Hedgepeth,
  email: afwoh@cbpp.uaa.alaska.edu, or telephone: (907)
  786-4116.
• Seek pre-approval from the graduate program advisor at
   the institution which will be awarding the degree.
• Apply for admission as a non-degree-seeking student at
   UAA before registering for the classes. (A separate
   application for admission is required for each semester
   while a student is in non-degree-seeking status.)

non-degree seeking application

To apply for admission:

• Go to https://uaonline.alaska.edu 

• If you don’t already have a logon id and password, follow directions to create them.  Write them down, then log in.

• On the main menu, click “Student Services, Financial Aid, and Account Information.”

• On the next menu, click “Admissions.”

• Click “Choose a Campus” and then select “University of Alaska Anchorage.”

• On the next menu, click “Application Type” select "Non-Degree Seeking" 

• Select your admission term, Fall 2009.

• Continue to follow the menu until you have completed your application.

• After applying for admission, wait at least two days before registering.  An Enrollment Services employee reviews online applications before downloading them permanently.
