Welcome to the Center for Economic Development

The University of Alaska Center for Economic Development is a joint venture between the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) and the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) to provide technical assistance to organizations involved in economic development.

Our goal is to leverage the unique expertise and research capabilities of the University of Alaska campuses to facilitate economic development in communities throughout the State. The Center is here to offer assistance to organizations in problem solving and taking advantage of opportunities related to economic development.

Joint funding for the University of Alaska Center for Economic Development is provided by the University of Alaska and the U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration.
