Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance
Program Overview
The Bachelor of Business Administration
(BBA) is a professional degree offered
through the College of Business and Public
Policy. It is designed to prepare students
to pursue meaningful and rewarding careers
in financial management of corporations or
non-profit organizations; investment banking
and money management; retirement planning
and management of pension funds; and real
estate development, sale and property
management.
Bachelor of Business Administration in
finance is offered in two concentration
areas: (1) Investment and (2) Real Estate &
Property Management. In addition,
non-finance majors may minor in Real Estate.
Students who pursue a baccalaureate degree
in finance declare a concentration area at
the end of their second year.
The growing need for financial expertise as
the economy expands will drive job growth
over the next decade. According to the U.S.
Department of Labor, the employment market
for finance professionals is expected to
grow steadily through 2014. This degree will
provide the opportunity to prepare for a
rewarding career. |
