Areas of Expertise:
Dr. Johnson specializes in international economics and internet economics.

Degrees:

     Ph.D. - Economics, University of Rochester, 1985
     M.A. - Economics, University of Rochester, 1982
     B.A. - Economics, Macquarie University, 1978

Previous Experience:
Dr. Johnson joined the UAA faculty in 1989. He was previously a research officer with the Overseas Economic Relations and Structural Policy Division of the Australian Treasury. During 1987-1988 he was on leave from that post to be a guest lecturer at the Nanyang Technological Institute and the Singapore Institute of Management. Dr. Johnson has also taught at York University in Toronto.

University, Professional, Public Service:
Chair of the Economics Department.

Dr. Johnson gives seminars on international economics and internet economics to members of the Anchorage business community.

Professional Affiliations:
Dr. Johnson is a member of the American Economic Association and the International Economics and Finance Society.
