Dr. Price has over
thirty years of
experience in
university
instruction and
professional
training. He began
his career in
logistics and
management
instruction with the
Irish Industrial
Training Authority,
both setting up and
delivering a wide
range of logistics
and
management-related
programs across
Ireland. He then
served as Senior
Lecturer and
Director of the
Management
Development Unit at
the University of
North London.
Finally, just before
joining the
University of Alaska
Anchorage, Dr. Price
was an Associate
Professor of
Logistics and MBA
Director at the
Kazakhstan Institute
of Management,
Economics, and
Strategic Planning
as part of a
European Union
initiative to
develop an MBA
program in
post-Soviet Central
Asia.
Dr. Price also has a
solid foundation in
providing both
consultancy and
training services to
industry. He has
provided management,
logistics, and
education
consultancy services
to: Federal
Management Systems,
Inc.; the U.S. Peace
Corps; the Ministry
of Defense (U.K.);
British Aerospace;
the North Regional
Health Board (U.K.);
the Irish Institute
of Purchasing and
Materials
Management; the
Malaysian Institute

Collieries, Ltd.

(about which he has
co-authored two
texts in Europe);
The nature of

logistics chain,
especially as they
are related to
psychological type
theory; and
Logistics and
management education
design and delivery.

and supplemental
teaching materials,
the first of which,

Current green-field

personality type and
the logistics chain.

ongoing series of
whitepapers on
issues in strategic

federal contractors.
