Previous Experience:
Professor Selk became a UAA faculty member in 1975 after earning his master's degree from the UAA School of Public Affairs, now incorporated into the College of Business and Public Policy.

Areas of Expertise:
Entrepreneurship and small business management.

University, Professional, Public Service:
Professor Selk has served UAA on the Academic Affairs Board, Scholarship/Committee and Faculty Promotion and Tenure Committees. He is also a member of the Alaska Economic Funding Forum. He is involved in training various Russian entrepreneurs as they come to UAA for special business training.

Professional Affiliations:
Professor Selk is a member of both the Anchorage and Juneau Chambers of Commerece and the United States Association for Small Business Entrepreneurship.
